Marc Le Bihan
"I find interest in creating from clothes already heavy with the past," le Bihan explains of his material choice, embracing fabrics of vintage provenance. He collects and meticulously deconstructs historical garments, such as an 18th-century suit, a frock coat from 1910, and snippets of vintage lace and embroidery, weaving fragments of their past into his future collections. "What pleases me is the act of using old pieces." He takes these storied fabrics and breathes new life into them, crafting contemporary designs that echo the whispers of history.
Le Bihan’s creations transcend mere nostalgia. They do not seek to replicate a bygone era but rather to honor the untold tales embedded in the threads. His work is an homage to forgotten stories, timeless and ethereal, detached from any specific period or place. Each piece he designs is a bridge between the past and the future, a canvas where history and modernity coexist, creating a tapestry of memories reimagined for the present.

Jean François Mimilla’s jewelry collections are meticulously handcrafted in his Parisian atelier, where each piece is imbued with a unique artistry and attention to detail. Mimilla places special emphasis on the inherent qualities of his materials, resulting in collections that celebrate fragility and delicacy. His creations feature antique and blown glass beads from the 1920s and 1930s, alongside the brilliance of Swarovski crystals.
The craftsmanship extends to the choice of metals: chains and rings are forged from durable stainless steel, while clasps and earrings are crafted in sterling silver. Mimilla also masterfully integrates natural materials such as wood and leather, adding a touch of organic elegance to his designs. The juxtaposition of these elements creates a harmonious blend of vintage allure and contemporary sophistication, making each piece a timeless work of art.
